Jose did not learn to swim until he was seventeen. As a student at George Washington High School in Washington Heights he took his first swim classes - and was soon hooked on the water. Lifeguarding courses came next, and then so did the swim team. Jose has always had a passion for creativity and drawing, even selling drawings to his friends from a very young age. His creative skills led him to Lehman College where he recently graduated with a degree in Graphic Design. Jose is excited to be able to bring his creativity and love for swimming to his students.
